Miami Heat lift the NBA Title by beating Oklahoma City Thunder in 5 Games

In the fourth quarter of Game 5, Miami Heat never allowed Oklahoma City Thunder a way back and ended at 121-106. In doing so, they wrapped up the NBA Finals series 4-1 secured their first ever championship in the Big Three era.
The game was highlighted by a triple double performance from LeBron James who finished the game with 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. He was awarded with the Finals MVP award.
James had already crossed double figures in the scoring and assists department before the start of the fourth quarter and only needed two rebounds to achieve the feat, which he did with still around 5 minutes remaining in the game.
Dwyane Wade finished the game with 20 points while Chris Bosh ended the proceedings with 24 points to his name.
The night however belonged to Mike Miller. Hardly being able to walk up the floor, Miller produced possibly the best performance of his career. He shot the ball 7-of-11 from the field to muster up 23 points in the game but his
play was highlighted by a 7-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc and several hustle plays in which he ran all across the floor. Miller was just one triple shy of equalling Ray Allen’s record of 8 treys in a NBA Finals game.
Kevin Durant had double-double figures of 32 points and 11 rebounds, but this would be a game he would want to get out of his system. KD lost the ball 7 times in the game and never got any support from the rest of the cast.
Russell Westbrook was dreadful from the field as only shot the ball 4 of 20 for 19 points and did not score entirely in the fourth quarter. James Harden was able to get 19 points for himself but his late exploits were not enough
to stop Miami from lifting the title.
Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins hardly featured at all in the final quarter whereas Thabo Sefolosha only got a playing time of around 9 minutes. He failed to open up his scoring account in the game.
Royal Ivey came off the bench to knock down two three pointers the Thunder, who had already raised white flags by admitting defeat to a better Miami team.
