Miami Heat all set for the dream duel with Boston Celtics: NBA Play-offs Preview
The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics have wrapped-up their first round series with extra athleticism and out-played their opponents in every area. Now, the true battle is waiting for both the teams to determine as who is better to enter into the final round.
This encounter is going to be the most thrilling contest in the semi-finals as the Miami Heat’s warriors will take on the Boston Celtics’ combating roster on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at American Airlines Arena, in Miami .This best-of-seven of the second round
series will be the most watched series in entire basketball world.
The two NBA giants are finally dreaming about winning this year’s Championship, as one of the team will certainly be going into the finals. The Miami Heat will enjoy the home court advantage, as they have ended their regular season with better record and
finished second in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand the Boston Celtics have a better winning record especially against the Miami Heat in the regular season, as they overpowered the mighty Heat three times and lost only one game.
The Miami has qualified into the second round by defeating the Indiana Pacers with a comfortable margin as they out-played the Pacers in four out of five games which they have played in the first round play-offs.
The Heat started their campaign with true spirit on April 16 and gave the Pacers an early blow by hammering them with 97-89. The next game was scheduled on April 18 where once again the Heat came out victorious with 94-73 and continued their winning
streak and defeated the Pacers in the very next game 100-94.
Though, the Pacers came back in the fourth game as they defeated the Heat with 86-82, but soon the Miami Heat geared up for the final blow as they crushed the Pacers in their next encounter with 97-91 and advanced through to the semi-finals.
The Boston Celtics are coming into this second round with an overwhelming result, as they whitewashed the New York Knicks with 4-0 win in the first round of the series. The Knicks were given huge blows continuously by the Celtics and they never recovered
from these fierce hammerings.
After winning the first game with 87-85, the Boston went on to win their next three matches and won the series in a great fashion. The Celtics won the series by cleanily sweeping their opponent and settling their position for the semi-finals.
Overall both the Boston and the Miami have some brilliant players, who will be trying to out-do their opponents, but six players, three from each side, are the most prominent talents in recent NBA era.
Miami’s Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James combined will be difficult to stop in the second round as these all are heading for their first championship together.
At the same time the Boston Celtics have Paul Peirce, Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo who are coming with full thrust and inner confident to determine their place in the NBA finals.
