Miami Heat and the next season: NBA Special Report (Part-1)

The Miami Heat had a tremendous last season. They played brilliantly and qualified for the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals. Overall, they played wonderfully and proved lethal against every opponent. The Dallas Mavericks
were the only team that managed to cool the Heat in the finals and shattered their dreams of wining the Larry O’Brien trophy.
But overall, the Heat’s roster played consistently throughout the 2010-2011 regular season and further in the post season. The arrival of superstar LeBron James was the biggest news in the summer of 2010. James left the Cleveland
Cavaliers for its lame spirit to win the NBA titles and joined the Miami Heat. His arrival in the Heat created big buzz around the basketball world and especially in the South beach area as people start expecting from James the next NBA title.
LeBron James also impressed with his individual performance and start performing the day he first played after coming into the Heat’s roster. His regular season was a great help to the Heat as they qualified for the playoffs with
0.707 wining percent from the Eastern Conference. The Heat total won 58 games in the regular season and their defence’s strength ranked second in the entire league in the first half of the season. After playing the post season the Heat managed to rank sixth
overall in points allowed as they averaged 94.6 points per game.
Coming into the post season, they first played against the Philadelphia 76ers. The entire Heat roster played with big heart and defeated their first opponent with style as the best of seven-series was won by Heat 4-1. Later, they
played against the Boston Celtics in the conference semi-finals and again came out victorious. The Heat’s next big triumph was against the Chicago Bulls in the Conference finals as they eventually qualified for the Championship games against the Dallas Mavericks.
Everyone was expecting a great series ahead between the Mavericks and the Heat, but suddenly the Heat’s performance was reduced bitterly and they lost the championship series 4-2.
The entire Heat’s management was shattered and stunned over their team’s performance as they never expected that kind of poor performance from a talented side in which Dwayne Wade and LeBron James was playing. Though, the main
players of the Heat did well in the 2010-2011 season but they could not win the NBA title with their individual tremendous performances.
Last season has passed now and it’s time to move on for Heat. Many think as the Heat’s roster has still that kind of power and they can certainly bounce back in the next season if it’s played.
Right now, the league has locked its players over labour unrest and until the NBA owners and the players association do not agree to sign on the new Collective Bargaining Agreement with mutual consent, the players will remain locked.
However, if the NBA owners and the players association do come with a positive development in the recent talks which has been taking place between them, then the season will start and the team Miami will come with a different strategy
to oust their opponents. Some basketball experts have taken a deep look into the Heat’s overall performance in the last season and suggested many things which can be beneficial for the Miami Heat next season. These experts actually tried to give a team preview
of Miami Heat and how this side can achieve more accomplishment in the upcoming season.
