Miami Heat is preparing hard for the upcoming play-offs: NBA play-off update
The stage is set for the star-studded Miami Heat as its preparations are looking lethal for all the other teams. At present Miami enjoys the presence of the big guns like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in their roster. The rest of the bench also
has picked up the pace with an enthusiasm to make their potential recognised.
On Sunday night against the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat unleashed their fire power in the shape of Mario Chalmers, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mike Bibby and James Jones. These all players played a vital role by defeating the Boston Celtics with 100-70.
The Heat is accompanied by one the young coaches in the NBA, who has a great vision for the Miami Heat. The Heat’s coach, Erik Spoelstra, truly excelled the thrust level of his team and looking ahead to do well in the next half of the season.
Spoelstra made a statement regarding his players and his team in which he said, “We are a more dangerous team when more people are involved and more people are active and engaged in the game — and that doesn’t necessarily mean scoring, those guys can bring
a lot of different intangibles.”
Bosh strengthen its statement when he officially stated in the media, “I think a lot of people get caught up in just [the Big 3] scoring the ball, but we have other guys who can score, and that’s important for our team because that gives them confidence.”
He also admired and told the media about his players’ strengths and their potential role plays in the play-offs. Spoelstra is very confident about Joel Anthony’s extra athleticism, Mario Chalmers’ defensive ball play and Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ overall presence
at the court.
The triple-packed Heat of Wade, LeBron, and Bosh performed very well against the Boston Celtics. LeBron scored match high 27 points, Wade gathered 13 while Bosh posted 13 points at American Airlines Arena. The Miami’s Bosh does not believe plying alone with
Wade and James as he stresses more on team play.
Bosh explains that many people certainly are counting on these three super-stars but they need to play as a team to win this year’s precious championship. Although these three will play a special role in the play-offs and eventually in the NBA Finals but
the rest of the roster will also have an equal opportunity to outshine in the big picture.
