Miami Heat looking for the final push in the game-5 of the Eastern Conference Finals
Miami Heat are currently leading the Chicago Bulls 3-1 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals. With only one win standing between them and the shot at NBA glory, the men from the South Beach are itching to grasp the court.
None of them is as eager as the Heat small forward LeBron James, who will take one step closer to destiny if the Heat win on Thursday. King James stated on Wednesday, “Me and D-Wade talk about it all the time,” “If you had told
us we would not have an opportunity to go back to the Finals five or six years, we would have thought you were lying to us. We have a good enough shot. We do not want to waste this opportunity.”
The 26-year-old James has not been in the finals since the San Antonio Spurs swept his Cleveland Cavaliers in 2007. Wade, on the other hand, has not been there since 2006. The dynamic duo can get there once again with a victory
against the Bulls on Thursday evening. They duo were working hard during the practice session and were still on the court, long after their teammates left the floor.
James was quiet clear that they want to win the upcoming game in any case and said, “We desperately want to win, and we want to close out on their home floor.”
Their morale is also high with the current three-game winning streak and the Heat are playing their best defence of the season, making things miserable for the Bulls’ guard, Derrick Rose.
In the previous two games of the series, Miami’s defence has dominated the Bulls, limiting their leading scorer to just 8-for-27 from the field. The league MVP was the main concern for the Heat after a defeat in the series opener,
but they have successfully handled him throughout the rest of the series, limiting him to 36.3 percent shooting from the field.
The Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh is also shining brightly for Heat, scoring a game-high in two games and averaging 24 points and 7 rebounds per game in the series.
The third of the Big Three praised the defensive play of James and Wade and said, “Just the fact LeBron and Dwyane are so defensive-minded, we all have to have that same hunger.”
With the most crucial game of the series around the corner, the Bulls have to come-up with a new strategy on Thursday. They have only one offensive outlet and that needs to be changed. Rose will remain the main target of the Heat
and by switching their offense on another player, they can exploit the Heat defense.
