Miami Hurricanes or Florida Gators who will win this Saturday?

Question

I am a long time Miami Hurricanes fan beginning in the Kosar years at quarterback...I have hopes that Miami will shock the college football world..but my friends have called me delusional and insane. Tell me do they have a chance and Gator fans why are you so certain that Florida will win?

Tapout 72 is right on. Basically Florida is superior all over including coaching.Miami is young and will be a force in the not to distant future.

Just not this year. I am not sold on the head coach . Time will tell.

If Miami does win, i will be happy, but the reality of it is that Florida will win because they can't stop Tebow.

The Florida Gators have not defeated the Miami Hurricanes in 26 years. That streak will end this Saturday. It will not be easy, it will not be clean cut, no matter what any Gator fan may say. I am a Gator fan, and I know ending a losing streak versus one team that long will take toughness and pride. I think the Gators have those two things, and I think they will win this Saturday. We will learn a lot about what kind of job Randy Shannon is  doing in instilling the old pride Miami used to have. We will also learn something about the Gators, and if they can make another run at a national championship.

Make no doubt about it though, the Canes will fall in the darkness of the Swamp Saturday night.

I am with you...I am an avid 'Canes fan, and I want them to beat Florida this weekend very badly. I am also a realist, and the truth be known, I don't believe that Miami has the overall defense and offense to put the Gators away...I can only hope that I'm wrong, because anything can happen on any given Saturday.

Unfortunately I don't see the Canes winning this one. They are young they have speed and are returning a lot of starters on defense, which was sixth ranked in the country last year. They will surprise people and hang with Florida. The final score: Florida 24 - 17.

FLorida is gonna win this game ethier by blowout or the canes are gonna surprise everyone and keep it close because of the rivalry and how long its been but Floridas gonna win not only on behalf of tebow but have many threats Florida has so many ppl on the offence that miamis d isnt gonna know what to do  really everyone says sped but watching college football for all my life miami has plenty of speed to match up with Florida and they better watch Brandon James on that kick off and punt return hes one of the best returners i have seen in a long time  altho Floridas D isnt what they want  from what i seen last weekend at the beginning of the game against the running game  hasent approved much from last year but im still a die hard Florida fan and i personally think we will go on and win the NC against Usc

Miami has a ton of speed, which is what you need to hang with Florida. But even so, Tebow and Co. will rack up 30+ points (they could score 30 against Giants) and I don't think a freshman QB, talented as he is, can outscore Tebow at Florida.  But another year or two and things could change.

I think the Gators have a little too much going for them.  Unless they take you lightly and that's not likely, they will win about 28-14.
