Miandad is not willing to work under Waqar Younis

within PCB claimed on Wednesday.
The legendry batsman of Pakistan was offered the role of team’s batting coach by the Pakistan Cricket Board but he declined the offer saying the busy schedule does not allow him to take any full-time role with the team. Miandad, however,
expressed his interest in working as batting and fielding consultant with the team in the lead up to the esteemed World Cup event but has now stepped back as he wants more authority.
The 53-year-old Karachi born has coached the Pakistan team thrice in the past. His last stint with the team as national coach was from 2003 to 2004. Since then, PCB has made numerous attempts to draft in the legendary batter of Pakistan
as the batting coach but every time he has turned down the offer citing lack of free time due to his personal commitments.
Miandad officially maintained that his personal commitments does not allow him to travel to New Zealand with the team but the hidden sources told the media reporters that the match winner of 1986 Sharjah Cup final against arch rival http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750
is not willing to work under Waqar Younis’ supervision.
Miandad, the Director General of Pakistan Cricket Board, feels he is senior to Younis and is placed on a top position in the supreme governing body of Pakistan cricket. It must be mentioned here that Waqar had played a number of matches
under Miandad’s captaincy.
Despite of turning down the consultancy offer, Miandad, in an interview on Wednesday, said that he is available to fine-tune the national players at a training camp which starts in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore from 8th of this month.
