Micah Richards admits that Manchester City are no longer in Manchester United’s shadow
Manchester City went on to draw their last Premier League game with Fulham, this past weekend and this draw saw them drop two valuable points and fall behind Manchester United.
However, despite that fact the team is currently unbeaten in the league and is doing much better than it has ever done in the past.
Based on these facts, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 has gone on to claim that City are no longer the team they were once known as and are now one of the biggest teams in the world. The player also feels that the team no longer falls under the shadow of United as they have
made a name for themselves in the Premier League and in Europe.
Over the course of the last few years, City have witnessed a massive improvement in their squad, mainly due to the team’s new owners. However, this season the team seems to finally be living up to its true potential, as it has been causing havoc everywhere
it has been.
Richards, when talking about his team and what they have become went on to add: “It’s always nice to have a bit of competition”
“We’ve always lived in the shadow of United a little bit so it’s nice to be competing with them now.”

Despite City drawing their game to Fulham, Richards along with the rest of the squad felt that the point that they got was well deserved, but it still hurt them a little to not take home a maximum number of points.

“It felt like a loss in the end but it’s a point at the end of the day,” he added.

“It’s terrific how far we’ve come. We’ve got great players now, great support, a good manager behind us now so it’s good.”
Despite City and United emerging as the clear favourites to win the league, Richards has gone on to show some modesty, as he admits that the title race is still wide open.
When talking about the teams that had the possibility of winning the league, Richards stated: “I wouldn’t rule out http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, Tottenham”
