The Englishman says that he has already been a big fan of the Argentinean striker and Manchester City can certainly use them in the title race in the English Premier League after their latest defeat to Swansea City...
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has not yet included the striker in his match day squad ever since his come back to the club earlier last month following a failure to find a new club in the
January transfer window. Mancini and Tevez’s relationship suffered a fracture when the striker decided not to obey his manager’s orders against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League as City proceeded to lose the match in question.
Tevez was fined as a result and Mancini said that Tevez would not play for City whilst the Italian was in charge of the team. Nonetheless, there was some cooperation between the two individuals after Tevez returned to City following
the January transfer window and Mancini then admitted that he might consider the idea of playing Tevez is the striker was fit enough.
Now after Manchester City lost their lead at the top of the Premier League table to Manchester United following their 1-0 defeat to Swansea City, the Citizens’ defender Richards has come out and backed Tevez to make a comeback
to the first team at the Etihad stadium.
Richards said, "We have to take every game as it comes. We need to go back and see where we went wrong here and why we are not scoring as many goals as we used to. Teams are defending better against us. At the start of the season
we were scoring, four, five or six goals a game but in the last two games we have not hit the net and it is something we want to look at and improve on in next couple of games."
He added, "I have always been a big fan of Tevez, I love him. There were games last season where he carried us on his own and in these sort of games he would get a 1-0 win for us. It's up to the manager ultimately but I would love
to see him back."
