Richards has made it clear that Manchester City will go for the win against their red neighbours in an attempt to wrestle back the lead at the top of the Premier League standings...
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 has come out and made it clear that Manchester City will be aiming for the win against Manchester United in the upcoming Manchester derby between the two clubs at the Etihad stadium. Manchester United currently lead
the Premier League table by just three points after they drew against Everton in their latest league match at Old Trafford. On the other hand, Manchester City won against Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to a fantastic display from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez.
Manchester City have cut down United’s lead from eight points to just three points due to the latter’s lack of form in league. Sir Alex Ferguson lost to Wigan before their draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 which means that they need to avoid
defeat at the Etihad stadium in order to maintain their place at the top of the league table.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 said, "Because United have always been better than us and have always had the bragging rights, it just makes it a little bit more special.  I've played against them since I was part of the Under-14s and they've always
been better at every level. We're not quite there yet, though we're slowly, but surely catching up.”
He added, "The players who have just come in didn't really know what the derby in Manchester was all about - they're getting it now, though! Everyone wants to beat United because it's a huge game and there's never been a better
time for this. If we win it really is in our hands. We don't want to get complacent. We went 2-0 up in the Community Shield, we didn't really play well and they came back and won the game.”
