  1. Hi,

You can try some peanut butter instead of the cheese.  That has worked for us.

  2. If you have a car port and are able to move the aviary, move it onto the concrete. Or find the holes they have dug into it and place poison on the outside of the aviary. Or you could place a cage inside the aviary with poison in it where the birds can not get in it but the mice can. then simply wait and watch and remove any dead mice you find in there, but they will probably go outside of it to die instead of dieing where they are living. Usually mice will go away from their food source to die from poison.

  3. they are there for the bird seed, generally you either have a dirty aviary or your community has mice.

i would take out the birds, put them un cages set up traps and was the aviary extremely well and place the birds back in and set up traps around the cage.

  4. We use bacon to attract the mice it works great! Then we stopped them getting in the aviary by putting some of that indoor/outdoor green carpeting down it was cheap and worked great, and to clean it we just hosed it off!

  5. They are attracted to the bird seed that is dropped.  Mix some with peanut butter at the traps.  You can try finding the holes that they are using for entry.  Maybe better house keeping if possible.
