Mice migration?

Question

Are mice able to migrate far distances? like from California to Florida? Does anyone know what distance they are capable of traveling?

I've been trying to teach my pet mouse to drive a remote control car i made specially for him.... he seems to be learning steadily.... i know it sounds silly but i just decided to teach him incase something happens so that he can espace...

as long as they have feet to use,they can travel far..
