Mice problems?

not really my pets but best place to put this.

a few months ago i heard something in my bedroom walls i though it was just wind then there was two holes in the wall.

ive never had problems with mice before so i didn't know what the holes were

the hole is behind a set of draws and my desk i looked behind my draws and there was a was a mouse.. we have captured around 6 mice with a live trap.

just yesterday i heard them inside my draw. and this morning they were in my draw.

what do i do about them theve woke me up and i think they are taking they are living in my draw.

i dont want to open my draw because i hat the thought of mice

so what do i do? call someone in to get rid of them?

Here's what you do.  Go on-line to your local council website and click around until you find their pest control department.

Your council have a department which deals with pests, including rats, mice, fleas, wasps and all other manner of pesky pests.

They will charge a fee, something like £50 to £75 but they wil be far cheaper than bringing in a Private company from outside.

You can use your council's services as described above whether or not you are a council tenant.  You pay council tax and one of the benefits is cut price lots of things, including pest control.

If you do not like the above idea, then buy yourself a cat.  Believe me there is no creature so swift at getting rid of mice as the Goddess house cat - first introduced to us by the Egyptians for exactly the purpose described above.

As you can see in the video-clip below, this agile and beautiful creature was created by God so as to allow mankind to pick up and stroke a lion.  The domesticated cat is a lion in miniature.

patch up the holes in the walls, and use the mouse trap(by live you meant you capture the mice and they`re okay, rightÉ because mice seem a lot more hesitate to go into a hurting or killing one, dont know why. And, it`s just plain mean if you hurt them)

Chrissy yes I would certainly call someone in to deal with them. We had the same problem with mice in the loft and it was a nightmare trying to get rid of them I can tell you.

The first thing we were advised to do was try and find where about the mice might be getting in. And to deal with it. We tried for ages with no success and eventually hubby hit on the idea that it could be the air vents...so he covered the vents over with some small gauge mesh. Once the rodent man had taken care of the existing mice we have had no problems since the vents were covered up.

When you look at a vent you think that mice would not be able to get through such a minuscule space but it was explained to us that a wee mouse can get into a hole the diameter of a biro pen.

Yes call someone in. You'll probably find the name and number of an exterminator in your yellow pages.

I find that a snap trap with peanut butter on it works wonders for getting rid of mice. They love peanut butter and can't steal it off the trap

ok so close your eyes (so you dont see the mouse) and put a baited live trap in your draw turn off the lights and be quiet for a couple if hours then go get the trap the mouse should be in it plug the holes then go release the mouse outside somewhere a couple blocks away
