I personally would check the fridge/freezer for pork, lamb, turkey or fish first.  Then go shopping.

they are known to carry all kinds of disease..

also fleas and other bugs that can infest your home

there is one kind of virus they can carry called Huntavirus

breathing the dust from their droppings the virus will cause your lungs to bleed and you just die

I think it is called Hemorrhagic fervor

Beside from the fact they are disease carrying vermin, the time and energy spent trying to skin and dress a mouse would be totally pointless for the one bite of meat you would get out of them.

  Hey,why not? the chineses eat rats,so whats wrong with eating mice.Just a bigger meal.First put them on a stick,( you'll know where to put the stick),next dip in a batter,and then deep fry.You've got a Corn mouse.With some favver beans they're great.

Well they are very healthy in terms of protein and fats etc

And a simple clean would rid them of diseases, however it isn't a terribly pleasant thought

No reason why not I suppose but you would need a h**l of a lot to make a meal and they would be really fiddly trying to get meat off the bones, you would need a very small carving knife lol.

they generally don't contain anything that will make you ill, unless they've been scrimmaging through trash and other waste. but there is also not that much meat in the mice, so it wouldn't be a good idea to be going and eating them.

I have actually eaten Rat. It was after watching Demolition man, and a bunch of my friends and I got curious, how good can a rat burger taste? so we found out by experience. I don't know what Sly was eating, but it wasn't a rat burger if he found it tasty. mice though, nah, you'd need too many. Cheers

You wouldn't get much of a meal, but other than that I don't see why not. Meat is meat; a mouse is no different than a cow, sheep, or dog.
