Michael Annett’s appearance at Daytona questioned – NASCAR news
Last weekend early morning Michael Annett rear-ended a car stopped at a signal. At the situation, police officers declared Annett being intoxicated far more than the legal limit in North Carolina. His blood toxicity was 0.32 whereas the legal limit
is 0.08 in NC.
It was Annett’s second major traffic violation in last seven months. The police officers were told by Annett that messaging on his cellular phone caused the accident. This same reason also caused Annett rear-ended a car in July. The cell was also included
in police report revealed by a television channel.
Television channel WCNC reported, “On the cell phone” and “could not stop in time” are the same words used on a DMV crash report with Michael Annett's name on it from July 2010 on the Brookshire Freeway near Graham Street in Charlotte.

It says Annett rear-ended a car, then that car rear-ended the car in front of it.

The victim is a college student in West Virginia.
Her dad says Annett was messaging and driving, never hit the brakes, totalled his daughter's car and she needed physical therapy.
NASCAR officials are in process to gather up the facts about the accident. Until Annett is convicted of the accusation, NASCAR is not able to proceed with local sanctions. Still it questions his participation at Daytona.
The fact remains that Annett has been in major traffic accidents as police said the cause of distraction was messaging on his cell including last weekend’s incident while riding RWR vehicle. Therefore, NASCAR or Rusty Wallace Racing is looking forward
to take some action, as if convicted. After all Daytona holds the place to be the biggest race and sends a clear message.
Annett seemed regretting on the incident placed at weekend, which could affect his participation this season.
“I am deeply remorseful for my actions and my extreme lack of judgment,” Annett said in a statement. “I let down my team, my sponsors, my fans and my family; I sincerely apologize to everyone that I hurt. This was truly a life-changing moment for me.
Despite all of the negativity that will undoubtedly arise from it, I'm going to strive to use this incident as the impetus to make a lot of positive changes in my life.”
The proved DWI convict faces a one-year license suspension according to North Carolina state law. So Annett could be seen driving without a license during 2011 season.
