Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Ballack-c25270 is going nowhere this summer. The player has recently been linked with a move out of BayArena following lack of opportunities at the club.
The Leverkusen officials, though, have dismissed such reports saying that the veteran will honour his remaining one-year contract with the club. The Werkself manager Robin Dutt also urged the player to stay as his services will surely be required in the
future.

has run out of steam in his ageing legs.
Sporting director Rudi Voller agrees with his manager saying that the 34-year-old is an important player for the side but might not last for the entire 90 minutes.
While talking to the local press, Voller added, "We are far more relaxed about this than many people think from the outside. There are other players who are not playing at the moment too, and he played last weekend anyway (in 1-0 victory over Werder Bremen).
We definitely need everybody. There will be times when other players will be glad of a break because they are worn out."
