The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has expressed his desire to see his team play more attractive football during the second-half of the current campaign.

to the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
Ballack believes that Leverkusen have been below par prior to going into the winter break, and wants his troops to show some character when the season resumes on Friday, January 20. He expressed satisfaction at the club’s training
camp during the break, and is confident of rising high on the table by winning more games compared to the first six months.
While talking to the official Bundesliga website, the former Chelsea midfielder further stated:
"We can't be satisfied with the first half of the season. Sixth place is definitely not good enough. We need to play better, more attractive football in the second half to make sure we climb the table step by step."
