Michael Bisping is currently focused on beating Brian Stann – UFC News
Briton fighter Michael Bisping has revealed is currently focused on beating Brian Stann in the ring. According to Bisping, he is not thinking about facing Anderson Silva right now, instead he is currently focused on beating Brian Stann.
“I've been asked a lot of questions about the title implications, people ask it and I'll answer them,” said Bisping. “But, that's not where my head's at, you know. I'd love to fight Anderson Silva one day, but, that might as well be a million miles away
right now, because if I don't beat Brian Stann in the foreseeable future, it isn't going to happen anytime soon. So, I can answer questions and think about it, but I'm really not thinking about it. Everything is completely focused on Brian Stann.”
“The guy's going to try to knock me out this weekend, and he's good at doing that. I don't want to go out there in front of millions of people and get my a*s kicked. I'm not even thinking about Anderson Silva.”
Although Bisping asserts he is not looking forward to a title shot at Silva, the truth is he is. In his previous interviews, he has repeatedly claimed that it is his time to fight big. Last year, Bisping fought against ‘The American Gangster’ Chael Sonnen.
The winner of the fight was to get a title shot and unfortunately, Bisping lost the showdown.
Now, Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping believes he is ready to take on Silva, even though others think he is not. Michael Bisping, Brian Stann and Chris Weidman are three fighters who are looking forward to a title shot at Silva. All three of them are trying their
level best to persuade president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White.
Recently, White revealed that Weidman is the one nearest to get the shot. According to White, the winner of Bisping vs. Stann will face Chris Weidman to decide who will get a title shot at Silva. As of now, Bisping believes he should be focusing on Brian
Stann instead of Anderson Silva, as the title shot is still miles away.
