Michael Bisping overshadows Chael Sonnen in post bout press conference – UFC news
UFC’s current world number eight middleweight Michael Bisping is packed up, confident, highly motivated, is in great shape, and is in high spirits to take on his career’s 26th competitor Chael Sonnen, the current world number two middleweight brawler on
UFC on Fox 2.
The epic pay-per-view, as always put forth by UFC President Dana White, will set up its octagonal stage on Saturday January 28, 2012 at United Centre in Chicago, Illinois.
On Thursday, the post fight press conference event took place which put forth media personnel the four men who will be involved in two of the most havoc-creating and fan-rattling bouts. Michael Bisping and Chael Sonnen are two of those men who did not lose
their temper but exchanged strenuous one liners that made the whole scenario and the Saturday bout a raging fight between two angry men.
Michael Bisping infamous as the Count is widely denoted as UFC’s greatest underdog. He has captured wins over challengers who are famous to knock out their opponent in just the initial few seconds. Fighters like Jorge Rivera, Dan Henderson, and Jason Miller
have kneeled in front of the 32-year-old Briton.
The Count convincingly outwitted the American Chael Sonnen in their post press conference. When Sonnen came in along with Dana White and Bisping he shouted with his hands raised and said ‘Undefeated and Undisputed’, a really rash and almost false comment
to defend his own defeat-filled resume. Bisping in a cool manner just smiled and while gagging said ‘Not For Long’.
In the gathering when Sonnen raised his belt in the air Bisping out wittingly exclaimed that you can buy these belts as a souvenir for just £29.99, a comment that brought a huge smile even on Dana’s face.
During the whole media session, Bisping didn’t let things get serious, he just kept on punning in reply to the questions and on the answers put forth by his competitor Sonnen.
At another moment, when Bisping was asked that whether Sonnen is the best boxer or not, he hilariously annotated, “He's the best boxer, he's Muhammad Ali, he's the best at everything. I'm just from Manchester, what chance do I have?”
Bisping continued and stated, “I outbox Sonnen every day of the week. Sonnen's a great wrestler, I'm a great fighter.”
Bisping not only overshadowed his opponent in the press conference, he also outclasses his Saturday night opponent when it comes to stats. The Briton has several times captured the fight of the night accolade apart from that he is on a continue winning streak
and has won four of his last five encounters.
