Michael Bisping wins bout against Jason Miller at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale – TUF Recap
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 Finale on December 3, 2011. The event was held in Las Vegas. The middleweight bout was contested between British mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Michael
Bisping and American MMA fighter Jason Miller. Bisping emerged as the winner of the bout through a technical knockout (TKO).
Miller, the 30-year-old MMA fighter was on top of his game when the bout started. Miller was throwing his kicks and punches in whatever direction he could. The first round was filled with aggressive offensive moves that Miller
was showing. Bisping was using his knee strikes and kicks to get an advantage. Miller did his best to takedown Bisping but neither of the two fighters showed any sort of softness to each other.
Bisping was then taken down by Miller and pounds him with his body shots. Miller wanted to throw a right punch but Bisping countered the move. Bisping was unable to start any counter attack as the first round bell rung. With the
second round in progress, Miller was again aggressive. He tried to takedown Bisping but his manoeuvre was misdirected. Although Miller could not take him down, but he did gave Bisping a knee shot which did make some impact.
Miller tried to strike with a knee but Bisping countered him. The two fighters started their striking shots and in the process, their heads struck which reduced their momentum for the time being. Both fighters were continuously
moving ahead with their offensive moves. Bisping started with his combo moves as he struck with his punches, elbow and knee shots.
He got momentum with his shots as he was striking with force and made Miller bleed. Bisping then gave a knee strike on Bisping’s head making him lose his concentration in the bout. Bisping was relentless with his elbow strikes
that were now targeting Miller’s skull region. Bisping could not end the bout as the second round bell saved Miller.
The third round was the only chance for Miller to bounce back in the fight and he tried all in his power to turn the tables in his favour. With a bloodied face, Miller was fighting back in the bout. The referee had to halt the
bout in the third round for a few minutes after Miller poked accidentally in the Bisping’s eye.
When the fight resumed after a brief break, Bisping came back strong with his strikes and punches. He was aggressive and did not give Miller any chance for a recovery. Bisping takes down Miller and continues with his pounding,
which is taking a toll on Miller. The referee had no option but to stop the bout as Bisping celebrated the win by a technical knockout (TKO).
