Michael Brill reckons Klitschko vs. Adamek will change history of sporting events in Poland – Boxing
The General Manager of Wroclaw Stadium, Michael Brill, reckons the mega showdown for the World Boxing Council Championship fight between the current WBC world heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko, and the former WBC world light heavyweight champion and
the former IBF, IBO and Ring magazine cruiserweight champion, Tomasz Adamek, will change history of big sporting events in Poland.
The 40-year-old Vitali ‘Dr. Ironfist’ Klitschko and Tomasz ‘Granite chin’ Adamek are set to take on each other on September 10, 2011 at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland and already 40,000 tickets for the fight have been sold out.
Moreover, this fight is going to be seen by almost 500 million people in almost 120 countries. Therefore, Brill believes this fight is going to write a new chapter in the history books for Poland.
Brill said, “It's a beautiful stadium, it's gorgeous. There is no better place in the world I think to hold such an amazing fight. We will have everything fine-tuned for this Saturday. It will change the history of big sporting events in Poland.”
Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions in the meanwhile also shared his feelings with everyone. Loeffler commented on both fighters. He stated the Polish pugilist, Tomasz Adamek, who is widely known for having an unexceptionally sturdy chin, is quite famous in his
country and people would love to flock to the stadium to see him in action.
Loeffler said, “Tomasz Adamek is so well known in Poland. He's a warrior, he's shown his heart and he is very successful in the heavyweight division. So I think that you'll see a great bout.”
Loeffler then admired Vitali Klitschko who is widely known for his powerful punches. Loeffler stated Vitali always likes to dominate the fight and he does it.
Loeffler remarked, “Vitali is the type of fighter who just dominates the fight. We're really looking forward to this fight between these two great warriors for the WBC championship.”
The Vitali-Adamek bout will certainly be a very promising fight, as both fighters are considered as one of the best in the sport. However let’s see who smiles at the end of the match.
