Michael Clarke backs struggling Cameron White as Australia bids to seal series win over Bangladesh
Australian captain, Michael Clarke, has stated that he has complete confidence in the ability of T20 captain, Cameron White, who is enduring a bad patch.
White regarded as one of the biggest hitters of the cricket ball in the international arena has been out of sorts of late and has not made a meaningful contribution since his half century against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in an One Day International (ODI)
match last year.
Clarke thinks that he needs to be backing his ace batsman at this stage of his career, which has seen him lose his Midas touch with the bat and struggle against spin bowling in Subcontinent conditions.

Clarke is off the view that the conditions in Bangladesh are not ideal for batting, with the slowness of the surfaces making it difficult for the batsmen to hit the ball. He thinks that patience is the key to success especially against
the slower bowlers.
The hosts have a plethora of spinners with as many as four taking the field at a time for them.
On the other hand, the elegant right hand batsman, who scored an unbeaten hundred in the opening match of the series has appreciated the role played by his predecessor Ricky Ponting.
The Tasmanian quit captaincy in both Test and ODI formats after the disappointment of the World Cup. Clarke feels that Ponting is a re-born player after the tournament and is concentrating hard in playing the role of a senior pro to

At the post match conference after the opening game in Dhaka, Clarke stated that Ponting had been there for him throughout the match:
"Ricky's been so supportive and he's made my job a lot easier by giving me advice and help, and by being one of the boys, which makes it easy for me”.
The Aussies are hot favourites for the three match series. They wrapped up a commanding win in the opener and unless the hosts can pull off something dramatic they are set to conquer them in the remaining two games.
