The victorious Australian captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978, believes the conditions on offer at the Adelaide Oval will help India in the fourth and final Test of the series, starting on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Having already lost the series courtesy of three successive defeats, India only has pride to play for, while the hosts will be eager to convert a 3-0 lead to a 4-0 whitewash for the Indians.
While fielding questions on the conditions, Clarke opined that the conditions will suit India.
"We know these conditions are probably going to suit India a lot more than where we have come from in Perth so we are going to have to be at our best to beat them, that is for sure," said Clarke speaking to the media reporters at the eve of the final Test.
Clarke expects that reverse swing will play a crucial part in the fourth Test.
"I think reverse swing will play a huge part in this Test. It always does,” said Clarke who took over as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RT-Ponting-c2377 in April last year and has not lost a Test series since then. He further added, “The ground is in great nick so
the outfield will keep the ball newer than I have seen it in the past. But I think as the day goes on, especially in the heat, you will see a lot of reverse swing."
Australia has been dominate in the first three Tests of the series, winning by an innings margin at Sydney and Perth, while easily winning the first Test at Melbourne. The Australian bowlers have wrecked the Indian batting in all three Test matches so far,
and once again the Captain will be looking to his pacers to devastate the Indian batting, who have been no match for the Australian pace attack.
The Adelaide wicket is expected to assist spin bowling on the final two days of the Test. Considering the spin friendly conditions, Australia has called spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mitchell-Aaron-Starc-c76392 has
made way for the off-spinner.
