The good news for Pune is that its new signing, Michael http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120, is going to join the team very soon. Clarke can turn out to be an ideal replacement for Samuels, as the Australian captain has the ability to deliver the goods with both bat and ball.
Historically, the Australian team has had many verbal battles with Ganguly, but Clarke has no issues playing under the leadership of the former Indian captain. The Aussie skipper claimed that he has always gone along well with Ganguly and same should be
the case in this year’s IPL.
"I think that Sourav's always been a nice guy. I've always got along with him well and I look forward to playing under him. It seems like he's doing a really good job as captain-coach over there. I've spoken to a couple of the boys and they seem to be really
happy about how things are. So, yeah, for me it's an eye-opener," Clarke said.
Clarke still thinks that international cricket is much more important than franchise cricket but he wants to enjoy the current season of the league, as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 does not have any international assignment in near future.
The Australian skipper added, "I've said for a long time that when the opportunity comes up and I feel that it's right for me, I'd love to get over there and have a crack and see what it's like.”
