Michael Clarke, the Australian captain, is extremely impressed with the progress of Ireland as an international team over the years and feels that team-work has been the key behind their success.
The Kangaroos will take on Ireland today for a One Day International (ODI) at Belfast, which is their last international game before facing England in the upcoming five-match series, which starts on June 29th at the Lord’s.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751 is yet to be given Test status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) but since the last six years, they have impressed one and all with their ability to fight till the last ball.

The Australian captain expressed that Ireland is a fighting unit and every player knows his job. The home team depends mostly on their seam bowlers and this is the reason why http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 thinks that Ireland does well at their own backyard because the ball does
tend to move in the air and off the pitch in the country.
“The one thing that impresses me mostly about Ireland is the way they play as a team, they all have their roles to play and when they do that well they're tough to beat, especially in their own conditions,” the middle-order batsman said.
Rain is expected to interrupt the only ODI between the two teams and Clarke is praying that the match goes ahead as planned as it should provide great match-practice to the Baggy Greens ahead of the series against England.
Clarke added, “I think the more we win the more momentum we take into the series against England. The Ireland cricket board will do everything in their power to try to get a game tomorrow and the Australian team's very keen to get out there and get the opportunity
to play here in Belfast.”
