The young Australian team, after a gruelling defeated in the first two Twenty20 games played against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758, is now on its way to prepare for the One Day International series, under the leadership of Michael Clarke, and will
be getting ready to to face turning wickets.
The 30-year-old Clarke has shown an aggressive approach, stating that his side has the ability to face the challenge of Sri Lanka's spin attack.  
Today, Australia's T20 skipper, Cameron White, has said that spin bowling made his life difficult, but the right-handed Clarke has put his steps forward to accept the challenges of Sri Lanka's spin guns.  
While talking to media, Clarke said that subcontinent conditions are very tough; however they have to pick the spot against the home team spinners.
"These conditions are very tough normally to face spin bowling. We have to be at our best. We have to be playing well and we'll see how we go tomorrow,” said Clarke.
The first ODI contest of the five-match series between the two sides is going to start from tomorrow, 10 August, at Pallekele.
The middle-order batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 also speculated that the on-field conditions for the first ODI would not change a lot, and would be similar to the T20 matches played.
Speaking about the conditions, he said,
"It looks quite dry ... the outfield, as you've seen in the Twenty20s, is lightning as well so, once you get in as a batter, I think it's a beautiful place to bat.”
He further added, "We know wickets are going to be conducive to spin bowling and we know, to have success on this tour, we have to play well against spin."
The right-handed batsman, Clarke, was appointed as the skipper of the national team after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup 2011, unable to defend the title.
