30-year-old Pup, strained his left hamstring while scoring a century during the second final of the Commonwealth Bank series against Sri Lanka on Tuesday at Adelaide.

importance of finals and the strength of the Lankan batting side.
"I pushed really hard to try to get back for this finals series and tried my best not to give (physio) Alex (Kountouris) much of an option to be honest,” said Clarke after the second final loss.
After rehabilitating for a week, Pup made a return in the first final on Sunday at Brisbane, where his team emerged victorious by 15 runs, courtesy of a maiden century by left-handed opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DA-Warner-c1301. The second final saw a change in fortunes with the
visitors claiming an emphatic 8-wicket win to level the series, despite the valiant efforts of the Aussie skipper, who made an aggressive 117.
With him being ruled out of the all important decider, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558 is expected to deputize in his absence, with Warner being named as vice-captain. Both players will now continue with their respective roles in the upcoming ODIs series against the Windies,
followed by the 2 Twenty20 Internationals.
Kountouris however, furhter revealed that the injury is not a long term worry and expects the skipper to resume his duties for the 3-match Test series, which starts on April 7.
"And we expect that he will recover in time to take part in the Test portion of the West Indies tour," said the Physio.
