Michael Cole signs a contract of 'Kiss My Foot Match' with Jerry Lawler
The WWE Announce table member, Michael Cole, signed contract with The King, Jerry Lawler, at Monday Night Raw on May 16. He changed the stipulation of match naming it 'Kiss My Foot Match'.
The rule of Kiss My Foot Match is that the unfortunate loser of the match will pucker up and kiss the winner’s foot. The match between Cole and Lawler was set in Monday Night Raw on April 9.
Cole insulted Lawler’s mother again that made Lawler angry. He tried to attack Cole, but Jack Swagger confronted and beat him down. Afterward, Swagger competed in match against Kofi Kingston. Swagger lost the match due to confrontation of Lawler.
The show did not end there and Lawler challenged Cole a match at 'Over the Limit'. Lawler also said that if he lost the match, he would personally induct Cole into the Hall of Fame and would give him his Hall of Fame ring. Cole did not accept the challenge,
but Swagger said that Cole would fight with Lawler.
On this week’s Monday Night Raw, Cole said that they would not be involving in the match officially until they would not sign the contract for that match. Lawler said that he was ready to sign the contract.
After the match between Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio, Lawler and Cole entered the ring to sign the contract. Swagger was also in the ring along with his trainee Cole. Lawler signed the contract without reading it.
Cole said that he had changed the stipulation in the match that became official. Cole said that the match would be an ordinary match, but it would be a 'Kiss My Foot Match'. Cole reminded Lawler that his friend, Jim Ross, had already kissed his foot and
Lawler would be the next.
After the contract, Swagger left Cole in the ring stating that Cole disrespected him on last Monday Night Raw. Cole tried to apologise, as Swagger walked away towards the locker room. It was a shocking turn for Cole because nobody will be in his ringside
at Over the Limit.
