The English defender has come out and backed Harry Redknapp’s work at Tottenham Hotspur and praised the former West Ham United manager for keeping everyone happy at White Hart Lane in the English Premier League...
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in Tottenham’s recent encounter against the Reds in the English Premier League has risen to new
heights under Redknapp’s management.
Tottenham themselves have benefitted massively from Redknapp’s guidance as the club was in a crisis when the Englishman took over and since then they have made it to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League and at the moment,
the Spurs look to be in the Premier League title race as well.
In the English Premier League, Tottenham are behind Manchester United in the third place spot but Redknapp has reformed the club in such a way that he has brought in superstars for bargain fees and also kept the current players
happy with regular football.
The former Portsmouth manager is now at the front of the line to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Tottenham and not interested in
managing the national team at the moment.
Michael Dawson said in his comments, "I think they realise what he has done since he came in. We were in a bad situation, we were in a bad position in the league table, and the players - a lot of whom are here now - were playing
below par. He has lifted everyone, so of course the fans are going to be happy when we are putting on performances like we did on Saturday and when they see where we are in the league table."
He added that tax evasion scandal and the eventual verdict in favour of Redknapp was a great lift for the manager. Dawson stated, "We saw the gaffer's press conference the other day and you could see it was a big [weight] off his
shoulders. It's nice to have him back in training. We haven't seen him for a little while."
