They are not equal. In one fist aid was available right away. The other the driver left the scene and went home to sleep before reporting the accident.  Why?

No, sorry, "we" cannot.

The only point I will agree on is these both ended a young person's life, needlessly.  To make any comparison to the circumstances is absurd.  I'll end it at that.

At least Laura was driving a Chevy, not an Oldsmobile.  But seriously, Laura was 17, and it was a dumb accident.  Can we say the same about Ted Kennedy, who was older and did not report the accident until the morning after?

You know, that's so true. George W. Bush & have violated federal laws and trashed the Constitution with illegal wire tapping, signing statements...

But then what do expect from a president and vice-president who took office with criminal records.

I think that we can agree that the only reason why we even focus on these names is because a politician (or spouse) was involved.
