Michael Jordan ?!?!?

People keep saying " oh MJ is great he made everyone better " yada yada who did he exactly made better ?

He took 23-25 shots per game for like 12 years or so ... so he wasn't exactly very unselfish player ... actually he fought with his coaches about his scoring role ..

So please give me examples about how he was great Team mate ?

Note: this is no hater question or not trying to take away anything from MJ..

And don't bring up Kobe Bryant please .. it has nothing to do with him

  1. 1st, i think if you are the best player on the team & as good as mj you should have the ball in your hands as much as possible, i dont care how many shots you take, im more concerned with is your biggest concern winning, if it is, then who cares if hes a ball hog.

2nd, i think what made mj a great teamate is that he cared about winning more than anything else, whether that meant playing d, or doing whatever to win the game. i think a bad teamate is like terrell owens a few years ago, someone who is counterproductive to the team in any way & i dont think being a ballhog means your selfish or a bad teamate, as long as your following the gameplan im sure the coaches know they want the ball in theyre best players hands whether thats mj, ladanian tomlinson or whoever.

  2. Micheal is better then KOBE BRYANT, PERIODDDDDDDDDD!!!

    thats all I know

i dont even think Kobe is top 10, but that is my opinion.

    You kobe jockers are crazy

  3. Jordan Is The Best Ask Everyone In the NBA Most Would Say He Is Even His Coach, Go Ask Phil Who Made Him Somebody

(Sorry About All Those People Who Had To Mention Peter Pan) They Can't Help It They Are Brainwashed

  4. he still won though and everyone playing along side of him got recognition, without him they would be known as who they are today, even dennis rodman made a name for himself because he was on jordans team

  5. yes mj is the best at ballhogging!!

    kobe atkes 19-20 shots

    mj took 23-25 shots!

    jordan-pippen=4 first round exits

    kobe-shaq=finals

    pippen-jordan=game 7 wcf

    russell>kobe>pippen>jordan

  6. I dont even think Kobe is the best in the NBA

  7. He was a great leader, that is what everyone is getting messed up on.

He may have averaged about 30 ppg throughout his entire career, but he got his team involved. Everyone had a role in that team. Rodman was the defensive specialist of the team, Pippen served as the wingman for Jordan if he had a bad game(which was rare), and Toni Kukoc was an excellent sixth man off the bench. It certainly made a lot of players a lot better due to it.(Pippen almost got the Blazers to the Finals in 2000, Kukoc was part of the 76rs team in 2001, Horace Grant made the Magic a force during the 90s, and Steve Kerr ended up winning a couple of more championships)

  8. He was very kind to his teammates and did whatever it took to win.

  9. He was the focus of the other team. Look at Steve Kerr, he even said he wasn't that good but with everyone paying attention to MJ, he got open shots.

  10. People that say jordan didn't win anything Pippen, cArtright, and oakley carried jordan have no idea what they are talking about.  When they say that it's the teamates that won and not jordan, than they are demeaning every great player that won rings.  Basically you can say that about bill russell too and tim duncan. But it's not true.  They hate all the overhype jordan still gets over kobe bottom line.

  11. In 1991, 1992 and 1993, the Bulls won the championship with Jordan.  In 1994 and1995, essentially the same guys, without Jordan, did not win.  In 1996, 1997 and 1998, with many of the same guys, and Jordan, they won again.  Anyone who can make me a champion 6 out of 8 years is a great teammate in my book.

To be more to the point of your question:  when the other team has to focus all its attention on one player, other players get better looks and better opportunities.  Jordan was the greatest basketball player of all time, and possibly the greatest competitor.

  12. Kobe is in every subject go KOBE!!!1
