What do you think about Jordan's comment?

I think it's true. Kobe is not even close to Jordan when Jordan is at his prime.

  1. so yes...

kobe will never be as good or as legendary as MJ.

  2. He is so right...........I like Kobe just fine but I'm smart enough to know MJ would have whooped him in his prime.

  3. Kobe is a better shooter, both great passers when they desire to be. Jordan slightly gets the nod on defensive he was more consistent with his tenacity on defense; however, when Kobe desires to be he can show similar fire and skill on defense. Both great clutch shooters, Jordan has just hit bigger shots. Remember at Kobe's current age he has more rings then Micheal did at the same age. Kobe better big score game potential. Jordan more of a competitor, but Kobe has a stronger desire. If I had the choice of both in their prime I would take Kobe his shooting ability simpy overrides everything else. He has made some of the most unbelievable shots while constantly being double teamed. Also Jordan's 3 point shot was never as lethal as Kobe's currently is. However, both are great and in the end the best will just depend on who you ask.

  4. yes.. thats is true.. kobe is good but has nothing on jordan in his prime.

  5. Of course he would say that, hes the most confident player ever, he would never admit to being worse then ANYONE.  However, that doesn't make the statement true.

  6. im a kobe fan..

but i think mj is good than him

mj made the basketball colorful than kobe does not do

  7. I bet Jordan couldn't rape a woman in HIS prime.

  8. Ofcourse Michael would win

Kobe even said MJ was the greatest to ever play the game!

Mj was also never raped in the Finals like Kobe was in 04 and 08

Jordan's stats are better than Kobe's

Jordan was also lead his team to 6 ships.

Shaq carried kobe to 3 ships.

  9. d**n, thats awesome to hear from the man himself talking junk.

  10. thats a good video kobe fans watching that probably wanted him to miss the last money shot at the freethrow line when he was playing around the world lol

  11. Bryant is ahead of Jordan in rings at his age. I dont know the stats but I do believe Bryant would be ahead of Jordan in many stats also.  It doesnt matter though if Bryant goes on to win 34343 rings and blows away Jordans stats because Jordan is everyones lord and savior and will never admit anyone is on his level.

  12. kobe couldn't beat jordan if they played today.

    GO CELTICS! KOBE SUCKS!

  13. Well let's see.

Pierce is better then Kobe. Pierce said so.

MJ is better then both Pierce and Kobe.  MJ said so.

  14. its true.but dont take anything away fom kobe, hes the only one being compared to jordan.and also he had to give the people wat they wanted.he wasnt going to say that kobe was better than him

  15. Didn't he just proved it in the 1998 All-Star? The Air-man is just stating an absolute truth. Even Kobe admits that:

    When shown MJ's pic:

    "The Master".

In an interview with Stephen A. Smith this 2008 Kobe said of Jordan:

    "That's the greatest".

Phil Jackson even remarked in reference to Michael Jordan:

"That's the greatest player I ever had..."

    Hope this helps.

  16. its true dude no one can beat michael in his prime

  17. such talks are useless. Kobe is good, very good and one of the best players of 2000s. MJ was good in 90s of the last century. And basketball's changed since those times, i think. Even more athletic, better defensively.

BTW, MJ's career high is 69 pts, compare it to Kobe's 81. But again, we'll never be able to make them play one on one being them at their primes. Though, I think, they'в have been equal.
