Michael Klueh claims Men’s 400m freestyle gold – FINA Swimming World Cup, Tokyo
Michael Klueh of USA claimed gold medal of the Men’s 400m freestyle on initial day of the seventh stop of the 2012 FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup Series in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday, November 6.
Klueh dictated terms to his opponents in the mediocre distant freestyle discipline as he showed his urgency towards the finishing blockade for gold medal.
The American swimmer enjoyed an advantage of almost two body lengths over his toughest competitor and surfaced on the finishing end for gold medal with a timing of 3 minutes and 40.23 seconds.

Subsequently, Lloyd was traced by Fumiya Hidaka of Japan, who was 1.24 seconds apart and clocked a time of 3 minutes and 45.90 seconds for sixth position.
Seventh finest spot of the race was obtained by Junpei Higashi of Japan, who was 0.44 seconds apart and transpired on the finishing blockade with the timing of 3 minutes and 46.34 seconds.
Higashi was traced by compatriot, Youhei Takiguchi, who stayed significantly slower from his foregoing finisher and submitted a time of 3 minutes and 51.79 seconds for eighth position.
