Michael Koncz, who is the current advisor of eight-division world champion and the current World Boxing Organisation Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion) Manny Pacquiao, has claimed his man win close the chapter of Juan Manuel Marquez forever this
time.
The Fighting Pride of Philippines, Manny ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao and Marquez, who is the current World Boxing Association Super, World Boxing Organisation and The Ring Lightweight World Champion, will lock horns in their much-anticipated trilogy fight on November
12, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Koncz believes it will be a heart-breaking evening for the Mexican pugilist.
Koncz is his exclusive interview stated Pacquiao desperately wants to get into the ring, as he revealed Pacquiao said to him that he wants to clear all doubts. Koncz added he has never seen Pacquiao training so hard in any of his fights as of yet.
“[Pacquiao] could have killed his sparring partners,” Koncz said to the Manila Bulletin. “He will put an exclamation mark [on the win]. Manny has said that this fight will put an end to all the doubts and I do believe he will.”
“He's been early for morning roadwork and early for his afternoon workouts. [I've] never seen him this serious although I'm not saying he wasn't [serious] during his previous training camps. I just saw changes in the way he trained for this fight,” he added.
Pacquiao and Marquez first met each other in the ring back in May 2004 at the same MGM Arena and their bout ended up in a storm of controversy. Their second meeting which came after four years in March 2008 at the Mandalay Bay also had the same story as
Pacquiao was awarded a split decision over Marquez. Therefore, their upcoming fight is one of the most-anticipated fights of the year because it will decide who the real winner is.
Moreover, Pacquiao is currently rated as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world whereas the Mexican Dinamita, Marquez, holds the third spot in the pound-for-pound rankings of the world. Therefore, there is no doubt that their upcoming fight will have
all the hallmarks of being an absolute classic.
