The Hamburg SV defender insists that the arrival of the Dutchman has injected new life into the team, and expects the side to continue with the good form

and hailed the midfielder’s amazing performances.

“I think he's been a very positive influence on the whole team. Everyone got a massive boost when he came and you can see it in our game play already. He's a great player who's got I don't know how many assists already and a beautiful
goal as well,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

Michael Mancienne has thus far made 18 league appearances for the Red Shorts and is yet to cement his place in the first team.
