Manchester United forward, Michael Owen has gone on to hail and appreciate the contributions that Mexican international, Javier Hernandez has made around Old Trafford all season long. The former England international went on to admit that the pace and style in which Hernandez adapted to life in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, was rather amazing. He then went on to add and state that he expects a lot more from the striker in the future.
Owen is perhaps also well aware of the fact that Hernandez could prove to be the reason for him to part ways with United, but the player managed to ignore that fact when talking about Hernandez.
"He is a sharper version of what I am now"

"When you buy a player you hope he is going to be a permanent fixture in the team but I don't think anyone could have envisaged it being so soon.”
"The instinctiveness of his play inside the box to sniff out chances is impressive and he is a cracking finisher.”
"He has played and scored in the World Cup and in a Champions League semi-final, which would suggest he can handle the big stage. That is important at a club like this."
Despite sneaking in a complement or two about himself, Owen seems to be spot on with his analysis of Hernandez. The striker is one of the most unorthodox players in the game today and for that very reason, he seems destined for greatness at the club.
The forward joined United just prior to the kick-off, of the FIFA World Cup 2010, from Chivas. However, since his arrival he has gone on win the hearts of almost every United fan. The striker has made forty four appearances for the Red Devils this term and has managed to score a highly impressive twenty goals along the way.
The last striker who managed to score twenty goals in his debut season for Manchester United, was Dutch striking sensation, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ruud-van-Nistelrooy-c31966. Now, should Hernandez follow in the steps of the striker, then it would be safe to say that he is going to be prime source of goals for the Red Devils for many seasons to come.
At the moment, the forward is being hailed as the favourite to start alongside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the UEFA Champions League final.
Should Hernandez go on to be the decisive factor during that game, he would automatically go down as being part of United folklore, despite only being in his first season with the club.
