She said, ""Come on, I have really good taste," Beard said. "He's really not my type."

Her quotes are taken out of context. I live in Arizona and listened to the radio broadcast. She was saying those things jokingly; she has a good friendship with the guys on the radio, and they were joking. Plus, she has a boyfriend! He even stayed with her in Beijing.  It's crazy to think that people would even think her and Phelps were dating.

But, anyways... I think her comments were taken out of context and were made to appear worse than they were really intended.

It's not a big deal what her opinion of Michael Phelps is, anyway.
