  2. No, not the greatest athlete ever. There are too many greats like MJ, muhammad ali, and too many to name. Maybe one of the greatest olympians, but not athletes.

    Yes, I think he will make it 8 for 8.

    And mildly shocked, Ive already seen the once undefeated Patriots lose in the Superbowl, so I know perfection is hard. And Phelp's is swimming against other country's bests, so mildly shocked.

    He is NOT THE gratest athlete, but he is on the list along with Mark Spitz, Jessee Owens, etc..

    He is the greatest swimmer of all time along with Spitz.
