  1. i have no idea

i think maybe he's just THAT good. in my opinion, he's simply amazing. i don't think anything is altered or anything, if that's what you're saying. it could be how much he trains. who knows. but i definately think that all of the races are real or whatever and nothing fishy is going on. that's what i think anyways, i'm sure there's a lot of people that would question it though. i think he's just really that good. it's "unbelievable" haha nobody wants to believe it. but i think it's all true and fair. i enjoy watching him. it makes me proud to be an American.

if it sounded like i was trying to say you're wrong, that's not it at all. i think everyone has the right to ask questions and question certain things. but in this case, i think it's all true. but that's just what i think. what do i REALLY know about it all?

everyone can say their opinions. it is strange that he wins by such huge margins everytime..but i just LIKE to believe that it's all true. and i'm sure everyone else does too, which is why some people might get offended by it.

in my opinion, he's just incredible and unbeatable. simple as that.

but you have the right to believe what you want as well. hence the reason we live in America haha

    :)

  2. He's a talented guy, but also the pool's depth has created advantages for fast swimmers.

  3. Ok, I have swam competitively for a long time now...

Michael Phelps is drug tested after every race. Steroids cannot be the case. Besides, too much muscle build would do more harm than help to swimmers.

Michael Phelps, as stated before, has the perfect swim body. He has the genetics that nobody else has, and has worked so incredibly hard to maximize the attributes.

Have you seen the suits? How would someone hide a jet engine on those skin-tight suits?

He has PERFECT technique. He rarely makes mistakes in the water. His turns are phenomenal.

It is impossible for it to be a timing scandal, because he has won clearly in every race. There are no close races that can be said that it was faulty timing that gave him the win.

He is mentally superb. He accomplished so much in Athens, and just built off that amazing meet. Last year in Australia, Phelps had probably the best meet of his life. He knows when to kick it into gear, and can handle the pressure better than anyone out there. He knows how to win.

    nuff said

  4. he's a drug cheat

  5. What I say is that they all should wear the same suits, and the margins sure wouldn't be as great... And maybe Phelps wouldn't win all these medals either.

Personaly Thorpe was a better swimmer

  6. i dont think so... hes a great swimmer

  7. When someone succeeds in today's world, why do people have to suspect something "fishy" is going on? There is nothing fishy about what Phelps has done. He has volunteered for additional drug testing, above the required amount, just so people can't suspect him of any wrongdoing.

Is it that hard to accept he is an exceptional athlete?

Im curious, why aren't you questioning Tiger Woods' accomplishments as "fishy"?

EDIT: There, that better for you? "Why is it that" has nothing to do with seeing your point or disagreeing with you personally. Are you a swimming professional? Do you know what a swimmer looks like that hasnt practiced personally?  Or are you just guaging it on how bad he beat the competition? Where is the race you ask?  He's the best in the world, there's nothing to say it has to be a close race...

  8. Why is it that when ever anyone does well in anything they do the jealous population have to slam them down all the time...

This guy has been swimming since he was four years old he is bound to be probably the best swimmer the world has ever known.

He swims for 6hrs per day and also lifts weights twice a day.

Give the guy credit were credit is certainly due. Well done Michael hope you go on to win more golds for your country i'm from the U.K but i am a great fan..

  9. like they said: because he has the perfect body swimming machine. he's got shorter legs for a great kick off, long torso to move through the water, big hands to pull quicker through the water, his feet are like fins and he swims five or six days a week for five hours. he didnt start weight training until these olympics, so the extra help has made him into the superstar he is.
