Michael Powell signs two year contract with Kent – Cricket News Update
34-year-old, Michael Powell, has signed his allegiance with the English County side, Kent, after recently penning down a two year contract with the outfit, and will be soon be seen picking up his bat for the side, in their upcoming cricketing seasons.
The right armed batsman was called on board after serving 16 first-class cricket years with his former County team, Glamorgan – which stands as Powell’s prime team where the top order batsman served a major stint of his domestic career.
As for his current assignment with Kent, the player’s inclusion was further confirmed by the team’s Chairman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Johnson-c60600, who said that the whole roster was delighted to have Powell on their ranks, and will be a major addition to the side’s batting department,
where the 34-year-old has previously been quite effective.

of 299 runs.
The batter has also managed to pave some imposing footing under the Twenty20 (T20) format of the game, marking his appearance in 44 domestic games, scoring 844 out of a lot of 44 games.
