Michael Schumacher, the demented hypnotist
Michael Schumacher, one of the most experienced drivers in the history of Formula 1 and without a doubt, the best driver the sport has ever produced statistically has been involved in more controversies than Paris Hilton. He is a great driver and has the
ability to lead a team to the grandest of all titles. However, the thing with Michael Schumacher is that he does not race for the team. He races for himself and for his own satisfaction and does not give a c**p about what his team requires or his team wants
to achieve.
The great German driver Michael Schumacher began his career way back in 1991 with team Benetton. However, he was not able to make it big in his debut season as he finished in 14th place with just 4 points in the drivers’ standings. Michael was
able to light the spark inside him and proved that he had the potential to become a champion and will allegedly become one soon. After two good seasons in the years 1992 and 1993 with Benetton, Michael Schumacher and Benetton team boss Flavio Briatore were
able to pull off a championship for Benetton and they were without a doubt, the best duo in the sport back then.
After two consecutive titles in 1994 and 1995, Michael was offered a spot in Ferrari after his contract expired and Michael knew that it was a golden opportunity as Ferrari is a more consistent team than Benetton and the German wanted to secure his future
in the Formula 1. Therefore, he signed with Ferrari and stayed with the team for 11 years and scored ground breaking records and wins for the team.
Whenever a Formula 1 follower spells out Ferrari and Michael Schumacher, the two names together just don’t sound right. A simple reasoning for that could be that Michael Schumacher is a wizard and knows black magic. Yes, it is as simple as that. Michael
Schumacher won 5 titles with the team, 5 consecutive titles. How is that even possible? A team cannot produce the ultimate car for 5 years consecutively.
Even if a team somehow manages to do that, how can a driver perform at the top of his league for 5 years? Furthermore, Michael won all 5 championships with a marginal lead. Those were the 5 most boring years in Formula 1 history because there was no competition,
no entertainment; Michael kept winning and barely retired or finished behind another driver. The same face behind the post-race press conference and the German anthem followed by the Italian anthem drove everyone nuts. Since Ferrari is an Italian team, the
Italian anthem sounded even more annoying than the German anthem.
How was all this possible? Perhaps black magic is the only answer. Michael Schumacher won 5 championships and he did not win them alone. In fact, he hypnotised all the members of team Ferrari and manipulated them against Rubens Barrichello. Later on, he
hypnotised Rubens Barrichello when he realized that the team is against him and therefore, Rubens decided to stay in the team for 5 years just to help good old Mickey so that the German could break every freaking record in the sport and become the legend that
he is today.
Come to think of it, it all makes sense. Seriously, why would Rubens Barrichello stay in Ferrari just to help Michael? He wasn’t getting paid more than the German driver without a shadow of a doubt. Right after Rubens Barrichello left the team in 2005, Felipe
Massa joined Michael Schumacher and the unbelievable happened - Michael Schumacher lost the title to Fernando Alonso in 2006.
Rubens Barrichello gifted Michael Schumacher with wins by braking in the very final lap of the races Rubens was leading. Barrichello won a couple of races during his time in Ferrari as well and he could have challenged Michael for the championship, but he
did not because he was hypnotised. Now that Michael Schumacher is all out of magic, he is struggling once again in the sport but he has a backup plan and he plans to implement it next season with team Mercedes lead his good old partner Ross Brawn, who was
the team boss of Ferrari during Michael’s 5-year long reign.
