Michael Schumacher shows ‘no concerns’ about what people say
The seven times world champion and statistically the most successful man in the 60 years’ history of Formula One, Michael Schumacher believes in doing whatever he wishes. The driver has always shown no concerns about anything said
by anybody ever before, and this time again he shows ‘no worries’ about whatsoever people say about his reputation.
Even after having a very poor 2010 season, the German is adamant to stay in the sport for yet another season. The driver returned, earlier this season, to Formula One after having stayed away from the sport for three years. The
reunion of the legendary driver, with the historical team, Mercedes GP was hailed vigorously by all auto racing fans as well as other teams and drivers on the grid. However, the return of the greatest driver of all time was nothing less than a disaster for
his repute and a disappointment for his team.
Not only had he failed to gain any race wins all through the season, but also he has not finished on the podium all through the season. Furthermore, the fact that he was outdone by his teammate and a far younger and less experienced
driver, Nico Rosberg all through the year was even more discouraging. While Schumacher kept on blaming his car for his poor performances, Rosberg kept bagging points at one after the other races with the same Mercedes car.
However, unlike anticipated by many, the German did not decide to retire from the sport, once for all now, rather he is adamant to come back next season. While talking to the media earlier today he said,
"I enjoy it. I feel I have the right to do what I enjoy. Whether I put in dispute my reputation... I just feel good about my decision and I have so much support from people."
He further insisted that he is not a loser unless he gives up and he still is motivated that he can win. He explained saying,
"I certainly want to make it a successful return. I'm only happy if I'm back on the winning road with the team. This is what I'm working for, this is the joy of the passion for Formula One."
Above all, the Mercedes GP team boss, Ross Brawn also agrees with Schumacher saying that he still has signs of a conquering racer and next season will surely see him better and faster.
