Michael Voss, Brisbane Lions. What was he worth monetary wise?

Anybody know what Michael Voss was earning to play with the Lions in his last season?

Did he ever hit the 1 million mark as I'm certain he didn't due to the Lions salary cap?

Contacts go for several years so possibly his contract was for 700,000/year for x amount of years. When his contract was up he had to decide whether to keep playing and negotiate another contract or retire.

Regardless of how much better you get if you have signed a contract for a certain amount over a set number of years then you are bound to it.

Probably that 700,000 was his final contract and was what he was earning up until he retired.
