Michael Waltrip marked his victory after 10 years last at Daytona500 by passing Elliot Sadler just by the end of chequered lap.

This is Waltrip’s first victory in NextEra Energy Resources 250 Camping World Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway.
This year also carries the 10th anniversary of Dale Earnhardt’s death. D. Earnhardt also owned the car which Waltrip drove to his first Daytona 500 and won it the same year. Waltrip is running in all three top touring series of NASCAR
this weekend.
Waltrip honoured Earnhardt at his win, he felt emotional, talking about the star of NASCAR.
Elliot Sadler crossed the finish in second place ahead of Clay Rogers, Miguel Paludo and Kyle Busch. Sadler went to congratulate Waltrip’s victory, say that he deserves to win this day.
Jennifer Jo Cobb of Kansas City finished career best sixth, claiming the best finish by a female driver in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Cobb’s finish is tied with the second best result by Sara Christian placing fifth in 1949. Cobb has also marked
to be the first woman to finish in the top-10 in all three top divisions in NASCAR at Daytona.
Cobb’s last best finish was 14th in two races of last season, overall finishing at 17th in point standings. It was also called the best season finish of a woman since Sara Christian was 13th in NASCAR 1949.
Sadler led the lap 89 on the restart by the help of Waltrip. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was dramatized like Duel 2 qualifying race, pileup end in wrecks. Busch moved closing laps, bumping Chris Fontain towards the front end. But when the
worse contact between Brad Sweet and Parker Kilgerman took place on lap 96 it shot up into a chaotic wreck taking out most of the cars left after the 14 car drastic pileup.

Justin Marks’s hood came loose on 66th lap leaving him blind on track and causing him to hit in turn 1 wall raising the third caution of race.
