English left-arm spin bowlers, Michael Yardy and Ian Blackwell will feature in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 domestic Twenty20 competition, the HRV Cup, after having signed contracts with the Central Districts. Central
Districts had won the HRV Cup in the previous edition of the tournament and that had meant that they had qualified for the Champions League T20 in 2010. The winner of the HRV Cup joins some of the other clubs in the world to feature in the Champions League
T20 each year.

Central Districts had played English all-rounder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Napier-c1505 earlier but he was injured and they will continue to miss Jacob Oram through the first half of the tournament. This meant that the Central Districts
would be without two of their all-rounders for an important part of the tournament.

According to the coach, Alan Hunt, the Champions League T20 had given evidence on how spinners could end up throttling the flow of runs in the innings.

He added, "In securing two players that can fulfil that role, as well as being powerful top order batsman, I think that we have an ideal balance to our side. Our young pace bowlers showed considerable
promise in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 and when we add Mike and Ian to an experienced batting line that includes the likes of Jamie How, Peter Ingram and Mathew Sinclair, we have some very exciting talent."

The advantage that Central Districts have is that both, Yardy and Blackwell will be able to feature in the entire tournament. Yardy is a part of the English ODI and T20I set-up but does not play in Test matches.
England will be involved in the Ashes series at the same time that the HRV Cup will be played in New Zealand and so, he will be able to play through the tournament. Blackwell, on the other hand, had last played for England in 2006 and will look to perform
well in the tournament to get a recall into the side.

Earlier, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Wellington-c864 have also secured a handy international pair, Brett Lee and Luke Wright. Dutch international Ryan
ten Doeschate will play for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Canterbury-c775.
