Michael phelps is a jerk???

i hear people say that michael is a jerk and is the most arrogant guy ever. i have never seen him be such and i have watched him for most of the olympics.

plz does anyone have any proof of his arrogance or jerkness

Why does he always laughing and smiling during our national anthem?

I dont he is a jerk his the greatest swimmer in history, but since he has a contract with nbc he can´t have other interviews with other tv companies and mayb theese companies are the ones who say so. Also he cant answer everyone because he must be concentrated.

well your gonna have to find that out your self.. when he comes back from Beijing go to Baltimore, MD and find him and find out. He is a good person i just don't think that his mom saying that he has ADHD on an interview was the best move shes ever made

Everybody wants to talk to him and meet him and get his autograph.  He can't talk with and meet with everybody and give everybody autographs.  Those who don't get to talk with him or meet him or get his autographs (especially if they go after him for this) may assume he is an arrogant jerk for ignoring them.

People just talk! They don't know him, and just because you see him on t.v. doesn't mean that's how he truly acts.

him aside from the fact that we watch him

on TV. but .. I gotta say, I thought that

it was pretty cocky of him to say that he

would win 8 gold medals this olympics.

I mean, there is a line between confidence

and out-right haughtiness. but hey - that's

just my opinion :)

personally, I sorta want someone else to

beat him at the race tonight. but that just

might be my pettiness showing through! :D
