Hi everyone,

I have never been to a michaels store because I live in England.

I really need to know how they work and how they are organised, especially in the beads department.

thanks

  1. umm they are made all of crafts supplies.

They sell little painting sets and those types of stuff for kids. Michaels has things for professionals you can just ask where the beads are and they will probably take you too a row full of them

  2. They sell beads in strands and in bag, sets etc. No individual beads like some bead stores do. It would be too crazy. They usually have an isle with the bead, string, wire, and needles, and any other jewelry making tools right in the same isle. Hope that helps :)

  3. They have spacious aisles as well as special displays.  The beading department is quite extensive and does not fit in one aisle, so there are also free standing displays with beads as well as a good portion of one of the walls covered with beads.  They are also divided up by quality.  Anywhere from your cheapest plastic beads, to glass beads to Swarovski crystals.  They also have all kinds of tools and accessories for working with beads as well organizing containers.  If you have not checked out the selection, you can take a look here.
