Is Canada, France, or England really like what they show on 'Sicko?' Does anyone on here live in any of these places? Does Moore romanticize it, or are their health care systems really decent?

  1. Micharl moore is the biggest 'Sicko' in this matter.

  2. Take it all with a pinch of salt. I live in the US but I am British and recently lived in Canada for 6 years. All of these health care systems have their own set of problems. However, even although there are long waiting lists in the UK I think I would still prefer it because healthcare here is just too expensive.

  3. I hear that patients die waiting for a surgical procedure that would be life saving in almost a 100 percent of cases.  I know docs who moved to the U.S. from Canada.  I assume Mr. Moore placed the blame on the insurance industry and the Big" drug companies.  The doctors?  Blameless.  It would seem the pressure point would be the docs.  But, come h**l or high water, they walk out of these documentaries as heroes.  I mean they care.  They give away drug samples supplied to them.  Can you remember a doctor ever performing or giving time to a patient in his office?  That may be why these dirty old insurance company have to keep an eye on their billing.

  4. Moore has agendas and when he makes one of his "documentaries", he never lets truth or honesty get in the way of them.
