  1. Vo=Vf-1/2gt^2

    Vo=-1/2gt^2

  2. Use the law of conservation of energy..

    Ek = Ep where Ek = Kinetic Energy and Ep = Potential Energy

    (1/2)mv^2 = mgh

    =>(1/2)v^2 = gh

    => v = sqrt(2gh)

    Solve...

    Yes thats y youuse the law ofconservation of energy...

    substitute for g(gravity) and h(height) and you will get that takeoff speed...
