The Olympique Lyonnais winger has had his fair share of injuries this season and coach Remi Garde has confirmed that the Brazil international will stay in the infirmary for another 10 days
While talking to reporters, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 international, Michel Bastos will be sidelined for another 10 days after the club’s medical staff found a new problem last week. However, the coach has confirmed that
the player will not go under the knife.
“He had a new problem last week, he has been told to stop training completely for a good ten days. The doctor, Emmanuel Ohrant controls things well. No operation is considered,” said Garde while talking to reporters during a press conference.

“The events of this summer have not left me in a good mood. I had a difficult time outside of football. It made me sad and angry. My back problem? It is finished, even if it remains a small annoyance. My aim is to face ESTAC (Troyes) and to show that I have
no troubles. Without hiding behind excuses, this problem has plagued me for more than half of last season. I was unable to give the best of myself.”
Aulas had also said that Bastos ‘chooses’ his games but the Brazilian denied that he never did anything of that sort.
Keen to silence his critics once and for all, Bastos is very unlucky that his return date has now been extended which is really frustrating for the player and his coaching staff. Though Lyon have made a great start to the new campaign, Remi Garde would have
loved to have seen his player up and running.
